Thanksgiving Day Meal

The Eagle's Nest, Fort Belvoir's dining facility, 6021 Abbott Road,
Building 1822, North Post, serves its traditional Thanksgiving meal Thursday from noon to 4 p.m.
The meal is open to all active-duty servicemembers and families, retirees, DoD personnel and guests.
Cost for the meal is $6.35 for servicemembers in the grades E-5 and above and their family members and DoD civilians, and $5.40 for servicemembers in the grades E-1 through E-4 and their family members.

Holiday closures, hours of operation

Closures on Fort Belvoir during Thanksgiving include:

Pinnacle Management, closed Thursday and Friday.

Dining Facility, Thursday - Breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.; Holiday meal, noon to 4 p.m.; no dinner.

The DFAC closes at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19 and reopens at 7 a.m. Jan. 2.

Headquarters Battalion, open for limited operations Wednesday. Eagle Bowl is from 9 a.m. to noon, when Soldiers will be released. Civilians will then work until 4 p.m., with limited hours from 1 to 4 p.m.
Installation Safety Office is open during all non-holiday periods throughout January.

AAFES
Dunkin' Donuts on South Post is open Thursday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. All other AAFES facilities are closed Thursday, including the Main Store, Home & Garden, Military Clothing, Service Station, Shoppette, Church's, Class 6 and Starbucks.
The main store is open from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Home & Garden shop is open Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Church's is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

MWR
Today, facilities in the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation holiday hours are: Golf, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Van Noy Library, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday, facilities in the DFMWR are closed, with the following exceptions: Community Club, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Officers' club, servings by ticket only at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Archery and Hunting, 5 a.m. to noon.

On Friday, the North Post CDC and SAS are closed, but combine with the South Post CDC. The golf's administration office is closed Friday.

Other closed facilities are CYS Admin/FCC, Outreach Service, Youth Sports, Community Club, Marina, South Side Grill and Wells Field House.
Open MWR facilities Friday are: South Post CDC, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Youth Services, noon to 8 p.m.; Bowling, 10 a.m. to midnight; Golf, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Officers' Club, 6 to 10 p.m.; Arts & Crafts and Auto Shop, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Body Shop, noon to 8 p.m.; Graves Fitness Center, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Specker Field House, noon to 4 p.m.; Library, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Pool, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Community Center and Equipment Issue, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Archery and Hunting, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
