Clearing, electrical, barrier and retaining wall work cause single-lane closures on I-95 today and tomorrow from Exit 166 at Route 7100, Fairfax County Parkway, to Exit 160 at Route 123, Gordon Boulevard.
A southbound lane closes from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday. A northbound lane closes from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday.
Additionally, pile driving and material movement closes Route 642, Lorton Road, between Gunston Cove and Silverbrook roads from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday.
The construction work is part of the Virginia Department of Transportation's I-95 widening project.
