Fort Belvoir's Holiday Tree lighting drew more than 100 children and their parents to the Belvoir Chapel Friday. A children's choir, cookies from a local bakery, hot chocolate, and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus with candy canes, added to the festivities as the lights were turned on by children of deployed Soldiers.
After the outdoor festivities, the U.S. Navy Country Current ensemble and Sea Chanters performed a number of musical numbers - some traditional and some with unique arrangements - at Wallace Theater.
