A planned power outage will affect some post residences and office buildings Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The following residences and buildings are affected:
• Quarters 102 through 152 and 142 through 165; and
•Buildings 206, 208, 210, 211, 212, 214, 215, 221, 256, and 258.
Dominion Virginia Power performs the outage for renovation work in Quad B of Gerber Village, according to a message from Clark Realty Capital, LLC.
The Pinnacle Property Management team will be available should any urgent matters arise.
Additionally, Dominion will use this outage as an opportunity to perform work on its distribution facilities, according to Eric Tatum, a project manager with Dominion Electric Delivery Privatization - Fort Belvoir.
"It is our goal to provide our customers with the most reliable service possible," Tatum stated in a notification about the outage. "We expect that the work being performed on the circuitry will enhance its future performance, and the overall reliability of service in this area."
