A stream restoration project near the future home of the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital was recently completed.
Large rocks were placed to redirect the flow of the stream and slow the water's velocity.
Additionally, several dozen native trees were planted along the stream's edge to combat erosion and hold the larger rocks in place.
