For the week ending May 9, Fort Belvoir's Directorate of Emergency Services reported the following:
• Burglary of a family dwelling (Rossell Village);
• Soldier charged with, verbal domestic (Dogue Creek);
• U.S. Government at fault in damage to privately owned vehicle (Mosby Reserve Center);
• Wrongful destruction of private property (Lewis Village);
• Soldier charged with simple assault consummated by a battery (DeWitt Army Community Hospital);
• Civilian charged with speeding - 31 mph in a 15 mph zone (5970 Meers Road);
• Passing counterfeit instruments - U.S. Currency (Community Center);
• Larceny of private property (Woodlawn Village);
• Traffic accident resulting in damage to private property (12th Street adjacent to the Welcome Center);
• Unlawful entry including automobiles (Woodlawn Village);
• Civilian charged with verbal altercation (Beach Road);
• Wrongful damaging of private property (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency);
• Traffic accident resulting in damage to private property (parking lot of DeWitt ACH);
• Traffic accident resulting in damage to private property (Belvoir Road and Richmond Highway);
• Civilian charged with traffic accident resulting in damage to private property, failure to yield right-of-way at intersection (23rd Street and Middleton Road);
• Civilian charged with driving while license suspended, child not properly restrained, speeding (Cedar Cove Way);
• Larceny of government property (Lowen Road);
• Civilian charged with traffic accident (Defense Logistics Agency).
