I am writing to express my deep regret over the comment I made concerning your team's finish at the recent Commander's Cup Race, as reported in the May 14 edition of the Belvoir Eagle. My response to the interview question was based upon incorrect facts and was in error. In fact, the HRC team did complete the race with all its runners crossing the finish line.
Please know that it was never my intent to diminish your team in any way. My hat's off to you for your warrior spirit and distinguished record of excellent sportsmanship.
