Sir,
I have been a resident on Fort Belvoir for over two years now and I've got to say, I love it. Outside of not getting my BAH, it's one of the best moves I've made while being stationed in the National Capitol Region. The attention that is provided to families is unprecedented. The culture on base that I've witnessed is comforting. We go to events on post and other recreational locations [including] the movie theater.
My family is Christian. We attend Woodlawn Gospel Service on post. Being a man of faith and a father of four, and, one on the way, I have a statement and a question: We like movies but can't watch or listen to some of the real good ones. Most movies that are shown at the theater are very entertaining; however, some should be censored for language. Example: I think "Transformers" was probably a great movie, but I sneaked a peek at some scenes and [found] language I'm sure could have been edited by a hired contractor or by the original company.
Is there a way to get edited movies much like we get edited CDs at the PX?
Thank you for the opportunity to ask a question.
