A family, fun and safety fair sponsored by AAFES welcomed hundreds of visitors Saturday at the PX/Commissary parking lot. The event featured Fort Belvoir Fire Department and Police Department safety demonstrations along with identification cards for children sponsored by the Fairfax County Police Department. DeWitt Health Care Network professionals provided blood testing, blood pressure readings and first aid tips.

There were plenty of fun-filled activities for children, including putt-putt golf, baseball skills game and a balloon bounce. Adult activities included fitness demostrations, gun safety and a car show with more than 40 vehicles of all vintages. In addition to showing their skills with dancing, members of AAFES grilled up a variety of fare for those in attendance.
