This is the perfect time in the year to take a moment to show our appreciation to teachers for all the effort they put into each day to teach. The education and the caring that children receive deserves thanks and acknowledgement. Teacher Appreciation Week is not only a way for students to celebrate their teachers, but also a way for people to learn more about teaching as a profession and its merits worldwide, since teaching is done differently in each country.
Happy Teachers Appreciation Week! We are so glad to have teachers here with us and helping us learn the things we need. Our school is Fort Belvoir Elementary School and our before and after school program is Fort Belvoir School Age Services. Everyone should be thankful that we have such good teachers in both of these programs. All of these teachers are very important to us.
Here are a few words and poems from the Fort Belvoir School Age Junior Counselors.

Teachers
By Loren Berger
Teachers are fun,
Teachers are cool,
Teachers help us learn,
Teachers always give,
So you should, too.
Never give up,
Teachers will help,
Always know teachers will help you learn. Always be proud of that!
Teachers Are
By Hannah Hinkley
Teachers are helpful
Teachers are amazing
Teachers are moms and dads
Teachers are smart
Teachers are there for us.
Teachers are trustworthy.
Teachers are fabulous,
But most important, teachers are ours, and they will be here forever.
Dear Teachers,
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
You are very good at what you do and you deserve this week. I would like to say it best by saying that all your hard work is not in vain.
We get it. We know you think that we don't, but we do hear you. We will turn in all our homework and we will get it done on time. We will work hard to pass our SOLs. We LOVE you!
Thanks,
All YOUR STUDENTS
