Broadway Night
The Hayfield Secondary School Choral Boosters present Broadway Night 2012 Saturday at 8 p.m. at Rebecca S. Wilburn Auditorium, Hayfield Secondary School, 7630 Telegraph Road, Alexandria. The event features Broadway songs and spotlights talents of Hayfield Middle and High School students and includes a complimentary, elegant dessert buffet.
Buffet and ticket sales begin at 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $10, student and senior tickets are $7. Tickets will only be sold at the door.

Virginia War Memorial Artifacts Roadshow
The public is invited to bring military items to the Paul and Phyllis Galanti Education Center, 621 S. Belvidere St., Richmond, VA 23220, for the Virginia War Memorial’s first Artifact Roadshow on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon."
Jesse Smith, curator of the Virginia War Memorial’s military collection, and noted military collectable expert C. Robert House III of Virginia Beach will be on hand in to personally view and offer their opinions on the origin and history of any military-related items.

Free movie
The Alexandria Black History Museum is continuing its partnership with SankofaSpirit to share its “Movies with a Mission.” The screenings are held at 4:30 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month at the museum, 902 Wythe St., Alexandria. Reservations are requested as seating is limited. This Saturday’s movie is “End of the Rainbow.”
