Attend the job fairs at Army Community Service, Bldg. 200 on Belvoir Road, Wednesday and Feb. 15. Child, Youth School Services is recruiting for their Child and Youth Programs Assistants, CY-1702-01 and CY-1702-02. The job fairs are from 9 a.m. to noon. Hired! Apprenticeship Program for Teens
Teens ages 15-18 who are registered with the Child, Youth and School Services Youth Center can obtain work experience and learn about the job search process while completing a 12-week placement on Fort Belvoir. Upon completion, apprentices receive a cash award. Applications are currently being accepted for the spring and summer terms.

Survivor education benefits presentation
Survivor Families are invited to attend a presentation from the Veterans Benefits Administration on VA Educational Benefits for Survivors Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Army Community Service, Bldg. 200, 9800 Belvoir Road, Fort Belvoir, Va.. Anyone desiring specific information regarding the Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program — to include the Fry Scholarship, Chapter 33 and Chapter 35 and how it applies to Survivors — should attend.
Free childcare will be provided for this event but attendees must register by Tuesday.
