Library closure

 

Van Noy Library is scheduled for interior facility renovations beginning Feb. 14.

Renovations include ADA accessibility, restroom remodeling, upgraded HVAC, new carpet and new paint.

In order to prepare the library for the renovations the library will close starting Sunday. During the renovation period, reduced library services will be provided in the Outdoor Recreation Center, Bldg. 778 at Tompkins Basin beginning the week of Feb. 19. The collection at Outdoor Recreation will include audio books, best sellers, adult youth books and children’s books.

 

 

Annual Weingarten Notice to all bargaining unit employees

In accordance with the requirements of Title 5, United States Code 7114(a)(3), this is to advise bargaining unit employees that:

An exclusive representative of an appropriate unit in an agency shall be given the opportunity to be represented at any examination of an employee in the unit by a representative of the agency in connection with an investigation if –

(a) the employee reasonably believes that the examination may result in disciplinary action against the employee; and

(b) the employee requests representation.

Newcomer’s Orientation
