Fort Belvoir Headquarters Battalion is looking for interested runners for the 2012 Fort Belvoir Ten-Miler Team to start morning training runs May 17. Fort Belvoir will have two teams participating in the annual Army Ten-Miler Oct. 21 in Washington, D.C. One team will compete in the Open category and the other will compete in the Active Duty Mixed (co-ed) category.

Sonic Boom Invitational track meet Fort Belvoir hosts the 8th annual Sonic Boom Invitational track meet Saturday at Pullen track. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the coach’s meeting is at 8:45. The entry fee is $4 for individual athletes and $8 per relay team. $300 team fee includes 6 relays.
